Wondering if guys could comment on the difference in quality of these. I assume most would say get the D series of possible but I'm wondering how inferior the F series would be?

Yes, the D-series are better and if money is not a concern or you just have to have really high-quality mics, you should get them. However, I have 2 sets of F-series mics and they seem to work quite well in studio and live. And, yes, I would buy them again, they seem to function just fine and I have had no problems with them for 2 years.

I've got 2 Micro-D, a D-4 and a D-6. They're good mics, especially for the price. I got them all in a special package last year for $400.
